WHAT: Stompers, let’s see those trail dogs! This ride is for them. Be sure to get with FTS Trail Bosses Todd and Tana Crosby and bring out your 4-legged trail buddies.
WHERE: Citrus WMA
WHEN: April 9th, 2022 @10am to 4pm
EVENT DETAILS: Meet at the gravel parking lot of Trail 22 on the east side of Trail 13. It is at the very south end of Citrus WMA.
Coordinates are: (28.7097565, -82.4166407)
A pre-ride briefing will be held and departure will happen at 10:15am. Please be on time! Be sure to have handheld radios. We will determine the channels at the pre-ride briefing. If you have Baofeng or similar type radios, make sure they are already preprogrammed to pick up FRS channels. Depending on how many vehicles show up, we will break into groups. Trail Leaders and Tail Gunners will be designated for each group. At this time groups will have designated routes finalized. Groups will leave the meetup spot every 10-15 minutes. By doing this, it allows riders more time on the trail and the FTS Trail Bosses can address any issues much quicker. It also allows for any last minute folks to join in the last group or so. But try to be on time.
Have your fuel tanks filled up. Bring snacks and drinks. We will be stopping for lunch on the trails, please water for your dogs as well.
(This is a venue where you can have some off-camber areas, as well as mud holes, but it can be dry at times too. Most times there are bypasses if you want to get around an obstacle.)
STAY TUNED and STOMP ON!!!
